I have been reading many blogs lately and decided it was time I get with the program. I will attempt to get the hang of this and tell you a little about myself and things I am interested in without boring you all to death. Hopefully, you will find some of it interesting. Comments are always welcome
Welcome to my World
Welcome to my little corner of the vast God planned domain. I plan to share mostly my card projects here, you might even possible see some scrapping, quilt projects, and photography. Who knows I may even try other other craft projects. I am also going to share a selection of little recipe cards I have collected over the past few years - scrapped, of course. There may even be some little things of greatness of my daily life. Every now and then, I might even vent!

Layest swap cards
I received a card in another swap almost like this and loved it as a neutral adult birthday card so I made some for the Birthday swap I am in. It was really hard to do without adding some bling it it.
Stamps: Nature Walk and Bring on the Cake.
Paper Soft suede, Very Vanilla, Basic Gray, DSP Elegant Soiree
Ink: Soft Suede
This card is my Birthday - Girl version. I really like this silhouette stamp. Wanted it to be bright and cherry. SC323 is hte sketch I used if I remember right.
Stamp: Easter Blossoms and Sincere Salutations
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White , Mambo Melon, DSP Party Time
Ink: Pacific Point
Accessories: Label Punch, Dotted Swiss Grossgrain Mambo Melon
The final card posted here is another one of my favorites lately. I just love this new stamp set. So versatile and have used several times and hooked a few other gals onto it. After making this card and not sure what swap I was going to use it for I added a little Happy Birthday sentiment to the bottom right hand corner and also added orange rhinestones to the flower portion ti bright up for adult women's birthday group.
Stamps: Sweet Summer
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Peach Parfait, Whisper White, DSP Wild Wasabi
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Basic Gray, Peach Parfait
Accessories: Border Punch, White grossgrain ribbon, Orange rhinestones

D.I.V.A. Secret Sister Cards
These are for my Secret Sister on the Blog Group D.I.V.A.S.
The first one is from the inspiration I got from her blog. I have used: SU Basic Black Card stock, CM Black & White Photo Mat package- several patterns and layers- I think there are 4 of them on this card., SU Basic Black and Real Red Satin Ribbons, SU Filigree Brads. Also used SCS Sketch 317. The hear is punched from a CM punch borrowed from a friend.
The 2nd card we are supposed to use diecuts, punches, cuttlebug, etc. Products used are Pear Pizzazz cardstock and the layered with Pear Pizzazz DSP on which I have layered Basic White that was embossed with the Big Shot and the Lattice Square embossing folder. The flower is made with the Build A Bloom stamp set and punch using Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz. I have also used a filigree brad and a label punch to do the Happy Birthday. Don't quite remember who I cased this from but thanks.
I am hoping she will like these renditions very much. Still have 3 more to make to be caught up with the challenge requirements.

Some of the latest in the past week
A card for an SCS color Swap. I wanted to do a masculine cards so this is what I cam up with for the Browns using Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, and the Soft suede from the Autumn Traditions pack.
Another masculine card for a thank you SCS swap. Basic black and Always Artichoke were used to complete this card. I really like it and may have to send one to my father just because.
This is my Black, Gray and White card for the SCS color swap in the Black section. Never seem to have a sympathy card when I need one and needed one today. I love the Bliss stamp set I used.
This last card is also for the Thank You swap using Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy and White. Also used the Bliss stamp set turned the opposite direction. My husband says turned this way it looks like a face.
This will be my last post for a week or so as I am going to have carpal tunnel surgery Tuesday and will not be able to type for a few days. Also off work for a couple of weeks so maybe before going back to work I can get more cards made and some of my swaps, whic are many, completed.
Hope you enjoy my crafting as I am having a lot of fun with all of the new stamp set. Gotta go wrist is hurting.

This weekend was busy...
These are the card I made this weekend for a White, Red & Black swap hosted by barb on SCS. The groups were each two of the three colors. These were so fun to make. Everything I used is Stampin' Up except the rhinestones - I just had to use them on one set of the cards - I love bling that sparkles-not glitter.
Top card was was for the Sunday SCS FS208 challange: I love trying to find something new and different in the Feature Stampers gallery to case: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=207340
The Middle card was using the SCS Sketch of the week SC317, use the sketches to get my creative juices flowing http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/card-sketches-f41/sketch-challenge-317-1-26-11-a-t518503.html
The bottm card is cased from a quilt card I liked very much and always wanted to try that tech as I also quilt when I can find the extra time: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;si=kamakaz1gb
Stamps: Top Thank you is Sincere Salutations and the bottom is from the Because I Care set
Papers:Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black. DSP from Pattern Pack and from Night & Day package
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black and Real Red Stampin' Writer.
Accessories: Gross Grain White Ribbon, Satin Black Ribbon, Satin Real Red Ribbon, Corduroy Buttons in Real Red, White Paper Daisies, Top Note Die Cut on the Big Shot and the label punch
POn the top card to get the shadowed label I cute one in black and one in red. Split the black one the long way and adhered it just a slight difference above and below the red stamped label. Used the red writer on the bottom card to make quilt stitches between the 1 1/4 " pieces. Layered the daisies with a rhinestone center.
Thanks for looking and any and all comments are appreciated. Hope you like my efforts.

Cricut Wintery Get Well
I made this card for several challenges and reasons,. First off I wanted to participate in the Featured stamper at SCS so I cased this card: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1889100?&cat=500&ppuser=225572. I made a total of 8 of these cards because I also had to have 2 for my own personal swap group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/handmadecardsforeveryone/) with a Get well theme and one for my personal stash. Was great fun also using my Cricut machine and Fabilous Finds cartridge for the labels. Added some dots around the words for more texture.
Stamps: Northern Hearts (hostess), Jolly Bingo Bits, Sincere Salutations
Paper: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze
Ink: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Perfect Plum, Navy dots
Accessories, Purple Rhinstones, Plum Ribbon

Sweet Summer - Bravo Pizzazz Breezes
This is the card I made for a seasonal swap on Splitcoasters. This is my Summer category card. I also used two different SCS challenges: Color Challenge 306 - Bravo Burgandy, Pear Pizzazz and Baja Breeze and Sketch 316. I was worried about these colors but once I got them together I love them. I am trying to incorporate more into my cards than just SIP-stamping, ink & paper.
Stamps: Sweet Summer
Papers: DSP In Colors-Pear, Bravo Burgandy, Sea Breeze, and Whisper White
inks: Bravo Burgandy, Pear Pizzazz and Summer Sun
Accessories: SU Satin Marina Mist Ribbon, Element Rhinestones in Olive, and Dimensionals.
