I have been reading many blogs lately and decided it was time I get with the program. I will attempt to get the hang of this and tell you a little about myself and things I am interested in without boring you all to death. Hopefully, you will find some of it interesting. Comments are always welcome
Welcome to my World
Welcome to my little corner of the vast God planned domain. I plan to share mostly my card projects here, you might even possible see some scrapping, quilt projects, and photography. Who knows I may even try other other craft projects. I am also going to share a selection of little recipe cards I have collected over the past few years - scrapped, of course. There may even be some little things of greatness of my daily life. Every now and then, I might even vent!

Scrapping Retreat
I am leaving in just about 30 mintues to a scrapbooking retreat for 3 days. I will be back with details and lists of things I got done on Sunday evening. That is if I am not ready for bed. No, I do not get alot of sleep at one of these. There will be about 32 of us from WA, ID & MT. It is a great time to see those from ID & MT. Most of the ones from WA I work with in our school district or have at one time or another. My hopes are to finish a couple recipe books I have been making as wedding show gifts, work on my Alaska cruise album (we took the cruise 2 years ago). Get as many sets of OSW cards done as possible, I think I have at least 6 sets coordinated to work on. Anyways, everyone have a great weekend and talk to you all when I return Sunday.

One sheet wonder Challenge
This has been one of my passions lately. Most of my family member said to me it is time for a nother pack of cards, I am almost out. I made all of my female relatives a package of 10 cards one year for Chritsmas. I guess it is time again so I am pulling out the OSW and doing cards that way this time around. Now i challenge you to make a set of cards and show them off on your site and give to a friend or family member. Here is a site I use for my template https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikPve1oKPF5ED0UteyIWFaobEkSw5q7QE6rrNk9ybefUOFkXDHaOPwC53Wa9P1xTn2Ce_SJ227GmjY9a-YidJjoWThCMYeLQIUxuL076LW96cOB3LJZ-cQSYvYGAG49xtrMPiXzucc1xx1/s1600-h/DSCN5068+copy.jpg

Teabag Folding
Today I made my very first Teabag folded card. I love how it turned out. At the site I used there are even ready to print out the patterned paper for the little kites you fold. Directions are also posted on the site and very easy to follow. If I can do this anyone can. Hope you enjoy the color pattern I choose for this simplet little card.I even plan to use some of this techinque in my scrapbooking this weekend at retreat. I had a lot of fun with this. http://www.teabagfolding.circleofcrafters.com/basickitefold.html.

Recipe of the Week
Sorry I am so late this week. The weather has been wonderful here and I have been doding osme yard work between making recipe cards for swaps and about 20 cards to catch up on some swaps. This is a great recipe for a BBQ and it certainly is BBQ weather in our part of the country. Hope everyone is having a great 3 days weekend.
