Welcome to my World

Welcome to my little corner of the vast God planned domain. I plan to share mostly my card projects here, you might even possible see some scrapping, quilt projects, and photography. Who knows I may even try other other craft projects. I am also going to share a selection of little recipe cards I have collected over the past few years - scrapped, of course. There may even be some little things of greatness of my daily life. Every now and then, I might even vent!

This weekend was busy...

These are the card I made this weekend for a White, Red & Black swap hosted by barb on SCS.  The groups were each two of the three colors.  These were so fun to make. Everything I used is Stampin' Up except the rhinestones - I just had to use them on one set of the cards - I love bling that sparkles-not glitter.

Top card was was for the Sunday SCS FS208 challange: I love trying to find something new and different in the Feature Stampers gallery to case: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=207340

The Middle card was using the SCS Sketch of the week SC317, use the sketches to get my creative juices flowing http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/card-sketches-f41/sketch-challenge-317-1-26-11-a-t518503.html

The bottm card is cased from a quilt card I liked very much and always wanted to try that tech as I  also  quilt when I can find the extra time:  http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;si=kamakaz1gb

Stamps: Top Thank you is Sincere Salutations and the bottom is from the Because I Care set
Papers:Whisper White, Real Red, Basic Black. DSP from Pattern Pack and from Night & Day package
Ink: Real Red, Basic Black and Real Red Stampin' Writer.
Accessories: Gross Grain White Ribbon, Satin Black Ribbon, Satin Real Red Ribbon, Corduroy Buttons in Real Red, White Paper Daisies, Top Note Die Cut on the Big Shot and the label punch

POn the top card to get the shadowed label I cute one in black and one in red. Split the black one the long way and adhered it just a slight difference above and below the red stamped label. Used the red writer on the bottom card to make quilt stitches between the 1 1/4 " pieces. Layered the daisies with a rhinestone center.

Thanks for looking and any and all comments are appreciated.  Hope you like my efforts.

  7. Monochromatic card combos make classic greeting carriers. Your choice accenting line black or spacious CAS white register instant pleasure for any receiver. Very fine.
