Welcome to my World

Welcome to my little corner of the vast God planned domain. I plan to share mostly my card projects here, you might even possible see some scrapping, quilt projects, and photography. Who knows I may even try other other craft projects. I am also going to share a selection of little recipe cards I have collected over the past few years - scrapped, of course. There may even be some little things of greatness of my daily life. Every now and then, I might even vent!

They are Coming Along...

Well we have just over 100 completed and going to have a work party with some friends to complete the rest today hopefully. In the top picture are the components to the invites. The 3 little pieces stack and go into a pocket on the left side when opened. The main invite part is on the right. Close it all up add a picture and wrap in a ribbon (this is what she wants) but I think I am going to just add a bow. (Much easier).
Thanks for looking and please let me know what you think. No I really am not in the market of producing these for money. Way too much time involved. I love my daughter very much is why I am doing them for her.

I need to get Busy...

Before these eggs hatch. No, I really need to get busy on the wedding invitations. They are about half completed but sending date will be here before I know it. Also need to make all of the bridal party (8) bouquets and cut out a quilt. The quilt needs to be cut before the 1st of April so I can get it to Montana. My mother is sewing it and my SIL is quilting it for the couple's wedding quilt. Here are the fabrics being used - actually her wedding colors. Actually minus the two prints with the large flowers and maybe add a few more in the light teal and celery green shades.

So Very Blessed

I just came home from a Women's Retreat thru my church and am so blessed to have a God that cares for me as much as he does. The study was on grace and how we need to be aware of grace, use grace notes and live grace. It was an awesome time with 42 other women in faith praising, worshiping, praying and most of all showing grace to one another.

We were also blessed to have it in a absolutely beautiful setting - Leavenworth WA, which is a little Bavarian decorated town. Great shop, eats, etc surrounded with snowtop mountains. It was wonderful weather to spend in God's beaauty around us. I also had the priveledge to spend the weekend with my daughter and that personal fellowship also.

We are all so blessed if we take the time to realize it! Thanks you God for sending your Son into my life as a child. Thanks to the speaker, worship leader and retreat committee. I love you all, you made my weekend wonderful.

Be My Valentine

Above are 4 of the cards I made last Saturday, I went to a Valentine making class hosted by my Creative Memories friend. We used 5 sheets of 12x12 colored Cardstock, A paper ribbon pack, a 4.5x6 pad of black and white papers. We made 32 cards and still have lots of the black and white paper and some of the paper ribbon left to do more things with. It was fun and exciting.

Does anyone need some cards to use for a cause. I will send some to you if you think they could be used. Would make great valentines, love cards, wedding or anniversary cards. Thanks for your interest.
