Welcome to my World

Welcome to my little corner of the vast God planned domain. I plan to share mostly my card projects here, you might even possible see some scrapping, quilt projects, and photography. Who knows I may even try other other craft projects. I am also going to share a selection of little recipe cards I have collected over the past few years - scrapped, of course. There may even be some little things of greatness of my daily life. Every now and then, I might even vent!

Still Homeless

We still are not living in our house, but I am able to come into my scrap room now and use my computer.  They hopefully will have it rebuilt by mid October.  They had to totally gut the basement and start over - all except the studs.  About 2-3 feet on the lower edge of all walls in kitchen, dining, living utility, bath #1 and 1 bed room had to be taken out and redone. Electrical and plumbing are completely done and they are just about complete with the sheetrock. Then the painting, floors, reattached cabinets and haul it all back in.
I will post wedding pictures and such when I have more time here.  They have the heat off at this time and I get too cold if I stay here very long - about an hour is my limit.  Maybe next week I can get back here for longer. Please continue to pray for our situation along with the stress at work and my mothers health - 2nd back surgery was this week.  She says she has no pain now so hopefully this works.

  1. Oh, Linda! How frustrating for you! When I was younger we had a fire in our house and lived in a hotel for a couple months. There were 3 of us kids and my parents... It was awful! Take care and here's wishing a timely fashion for you to be back home!

  3. I hope things get back to normal for you soon. I know from our recent experience with the May floods that it can take a while to get back to normal. We are finally pretty much on the other side and we are in a better place, but it just took a lot of work, sweat, tears (mine!) and prayer to get us to where we are.
