Welcome to my World

Welcome to my little corner of the vast God planned domain. I plan to share mostly my card projects here, you might even possible see some scrapping, quilt projects, and photography. Who knows I may even try other other craft projects. I am also going to share a selection of little recipe cards I have collected over the past few years - scrapped, of course. There may even be some little things of greatness of my daily life. Every now and then, I might even vent!

Seems Like Ages...

Since I lasted posted. Last weekend was filled to the brim with wedding planning. I worked 7 hours last Friday and then drove for 6 hours to Seattle area. Saturday my daughter and I went to the Bridal Fair for almost 4 hours. So many people and so many ideas. Took in lots tho, got a $50 certificate towards a dress and order the cupcakes for the reception. Then went to David's Bridal and purchased the dress. She will be beautiful. On to Michael's' to buy more flowers and such. Sunday was church, on to the ferry across the Puget Sound to go meet her future in laws. On the way stopped and purchased fabric for a quilt. His family is a hoot to be with, had a great time. Monday we went to check out the venue since I had already paid for it sight unseen on my part, her and Matt had been there before. It is a wonderful old opera house used almost every weekend for wedding. By the time I got back to Spokane after 6 more hours on the road I was exhausted. Good thing I did not have to work Tuesday so I rested, got a hair cut and went shopping for myself this time.

Since I have been home I got my monthly swap group cards from SCS completed:

My plans today are to start making wedding invitations, do some blogging and get caught up on some swaps. Thanks for looking.

  2. You have been very busy! I know your daughter appreciates all your work toward the wedding. My mom and I lice about 3 hours apart, we did a lot of planning over the phone! Very cute card, love the brown and blue color combo you used.

  9. Cute card! Congrats to your daughter. I know how crazy it gets with a daughter getting married, but it is so much fun. It brought me so much joy to be so involved in my daughter's wedding and the time we shared together planning it. Have fun!
